Sector Seven Contemporary Art Gallery (S7CAG), in collaboration with the Academy of Special Dreams Foundation, is proud to announce an upcoming artist reception showcasing an evening of creativity and a celebration of inclusivity for artists Federico and Christian Tresierras. The reception will be held on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Art enthusiasts and community members are invited to The Crush Pad, located at 693 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105, to view the collaborative art exhibition of the Tresierras brothers. Guests will have an opportunity to view an extensive collection of artwork by each artist as well as meet and greet with them. Federico and Christian Tresierras are California natives who have previously exhibited artwork at prestigious venues such as the Bridge Gallery at Los Angeles City Hall and the City of Alhambra City Hall Gallery.

The Academy of Special Dreams Foundation’s mission is to increase public awareness, recognition, and appreciation of the creative talents of people with disabilities by providing opportunities that encourage, promote, and showcase their artistic expressions. Founder and CEO Michael Dergar states, “We believe art exhibitions can and should bring together artists of differing backgrounds so we may appreciate how they portray and communicate the diversity of their life experiences.”
This California nonprofit public benefit corporation, a tax-exempt IRC 501(c)(3) public charity, believes all persons, regardless of their disabilities, should have equal opportunities to express their creative talents and to be successful in the arts. The Academy of Special Dreams Foundation is an all-volunteer organization of people, including more than 20 Community Ambassadors in the United States and abroad, who are dedicated and committed to seeking out, recognizing, and supporting artists with disabilities in their respective communities.

The Crush Pad is a tasting room pouring small-producer keg-format beverages such as locally sourced wines, beers, and kombucha into glasses and growlers to enjoy throughout the evening. Italian-style pizza and salads are also available on-site through Pie Life Pizza. While reservations are not required, they are recommended.
